Job summary

Nexify Infosystems is seeking a SAP S/4HANA CDS / HANA / BW Reporting Developer for a 12-month contract in Texas. You will translate complex reporting requirements into scalable CDS/VDM/AMDP based solutions, delivering end-to-end reporting across CDS, VDM, HANA functions, and BW data models.

The role requires hands-on ABAP CDS development, HANA table functions, SQLScript, and strong optimization skills for S/4HANA analytics. Experience with embedded analytics and analytics cloud is a plus.

Job description

Title : SAP S/4HANA CDS / HANA / BW Reporting Developer

Duration : 12 Months

Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA reporting and data modeling, with the ability to translate complex business reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Extensive ABAP CDS development experience, including complex CDS views, associations, joins, parameters, calculated fields, aggregations, annotations, extensions, and performance optimization.

Strong experience with CDS Virtual Data Model (VDM), including designing reusable Interface, Composite, and Consumption views for reporting and analytics.

Hands-on experience with HANA Table Functions and AMDP, including SQLScript development for complex transformations, calculations, data processing, and reporting scenarios that cannot be efficiently implemented using standard CDS.

Strong SAP HANA Calculation View development experience, including designing complex graphical/SQL calculation views, joins, unions, aggregations, projections, calculated columns, and performance optimization.

SAP BW development experience, including BW data modeling and reporting, integration with S/4HANA/HANA-based data sources, and experience working with BW objects and data flows.

Strong understanding of S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and database-level processing, with the ability to determine the appropriate technology—CDS, VDM, AMDP, Table Functions, HANA Calculation Views, or SAP BW—based on the reporting requirement.

Experience developing complex end-to-end reporting solutions, combining CDS/VDM, AMDP, Table Functions, HANA Calculation Views, and/or BW to meet sophisticated business requirements.

Strong performance-tuning and troubleshooting skills across CDS, AMDP, SQLScript, HANA Calculation Views, and BW, with the ability to optimize queries, data models, joins, transformations, and large-volume reporting scenarios.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on development mindset—the candidate should be capable of taking a complex reporting requirement from technical design through development, testing, performance optimization, and delivery. Experience with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Fiori analytical applications, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Analysis for Office is a plus.
