Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Senior SAP HANA / BW/4HANA Consultant in Chicago, IL for a 6-month engagement. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise data warehousing and reporting solutions using SAP HANA and BW/4HANA, SDI, ETL, ABAP, and SQL.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, architecting end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and HANA solutions, developing ADos/Composite Providers, SDI/ETL processes, and migrating BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAC.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders for reporting and analytics.
• Architect end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA solutions.
• Develop and optimize SAP HANA: Calculation Views, CDS Views.
• Develop BW/4HANA data models including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views.
• Design and implement SDI/ETL processes.
• Extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts.
• Perform SQL tuning and data processing optimization.
• Monitor and improve query performance, data load efficiency, and system scalability.
• Support reporting tools and dashboards by providing clean, reliable data models.
• Perform unit and integration testing and data validation.
• Prepare technical design documents and data flow diagrams.
• Support BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA migration.
