Job summary

Xcede in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP on HANA Developer to lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA applications. The ideal candidate will excel in ABAP on HANA, CDS and AMDP, and integrate with FI, MM, and SD logistics modules.

You will collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, optimize performance, and deliver RICEF components using OO ABAP, ALV, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience developing and maintaining SAP ABAP on HANA
• Strong experience with HANA Views, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData
• Experience with SAP FI, MM, and SD logistics modules
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience monitoring SAP systems and identifying performance issues
• Collaborating with SAP teams to resolve coding and performance issues
• Developing and supporting SAP S/4HANA applications
• Hands-on interfaces including IDocs, BAPIs, and file-based integrations
• RICEF development: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms
• OO ABAP, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Module Pool programming
• Interfaces via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, Web Services
• Code reviews, performance tuning, and ABAP optimization
• Translate business requirements into technical SAP solutions
• Participation in full lifecycle SAP implementations and production support
• Adherence to SAP development standards and best practices

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP on HANA Developer to join our team and support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, S/4HANA implementations, integrations, and SAP logistics modules.

Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

• 12+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications using SAP ABAP on HANA
• Strong experience with HANA Views, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData
• Experience working with SAP logistics modules, including FI, MM, and SD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience monitoring SAP systems and identifying performance issues
• Experience collaborating with SAP technical and functional teams to resolve coding and performance issues
• Experience enhancing and modifying existing SAP applications
• Hands-on experience with interfaces including IDocs, BAPIs, and file-based integrations

• Develop using Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Module Pool programming

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and support SAP S/4HANA applications, including CDS Views, AMDP, and code pushdown techniques
• Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations, rollouts, and production support
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Follow SAP development standards, best practices, and documentation requirements
• Stay current with SAP technologies and evolving S/4HANA development practices

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year
