Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Buyer to join our Fort Worth team on a temporary basis through the end of 2026. The role is fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, supporting a growing manufacturing operation.

The Buyer will manage supplier quotes, create purchase orders, and monitor open POs while coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in buying within manufacturing, experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred), strong Excel

Qualifications

3+ years of buying experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
Experience purchasing spare parts and components for manufacturing or maintenance.
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

Partner with business units and follow company policies while meeting deadlines.
Drive timelines, manage multiple projects, and prioritize against competing needs.
Work with suppliers to obtain quotes and evaluate them against market options.
Negotiate terms with suppliers with Legal and the Business.
Review requisitions, create POs, and manage PO lifecycle end-to-end.
Purchase spare parts, components, materials needed for manufacturing and maintenance.
Maintain communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders, resolve issues.
Monitor open POs and identify risks related to availability, lead times, pricing.
Respond quickly to urgent purchasing needs with sound judgment.
Provide guidance on purchasing policies and SAP requirements.
Assist in improving purchasing operations and best practices.
