Detailed Job Description

As an SAP PS Consultant supporting People Click in a remote capacity, you will take full operational, architectural, and tactical ownership of SAP Project System (PS) implementation, configuration, milestone tracking, and settlement processing. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing project structures (WBS, networks, activities), managing project budgets and cost planning, executing budget availability control, and integrating SAP PS with SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD modules. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional business analysts, finance stakeholders, and agile development squads in Agile sprint cycles while ensuring immediate availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, customize, and deploy SAP Project System (PS) solutions across complex enterprise environments.
• Manage full-lifecycle project planning, execution, monitoring, and control utilizing SAP PS tools.
• Configure Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements, networks, network activities, and project milestones.
• Oversee project budgeting, cost planning, budget availability control, and automatic/manual settlement procedures.
• Direct project cost management, financial reporting, and revenue recognition workflows.
• Integrate SAP PS seamlessly with core SAP modules including FI/CO (Financial Accounting/Controlling), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable SAP technical and functional solutions.
• Author functional specifications, conduct testing, maintain comprehensive documentation, and deliver tier-3 production support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional experience in SAP Project System (PS) configuration, consulting, and implementation.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in SAP PS module setup, project structuring, and WBS management.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in project budgeting, cost planning, settlement, and financial reporting.
• Deep practical experience integrating SAP PS with SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD enterprise modules.
