Job summary

A leading technology firm in East Aurora is seeking a Senior SAP PS Consultant with over 5 years of experience and 2 international projects. This permanent position focuses on setting up the financial aspects of projects utilizing the SAP PS module. Strong knowledge of international project processes and financial accounting is required. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators and problem solvers. This role offers a chance to work on global projects and influence project success.

Qualifications

• Certified in SAP PS with at least 5 years experience and 2 international projects.
• Strong understanding of project finance and intercompany processes.
• Experience in integration between Microsoft EPM and SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Setup financial aspects of projects using SAP PS.
• Design and configure global processes for multi-company projects.
• Eliminate double counting costs for intercompany subprojects.
• Record project costs in finance and time recording systems.
• Provide project reporting and analysis.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Senior SAP PS Consultants should be certified in PS and has minimum of 5 years’ experience and at least 2 international full life cycle projects.

We are looking to use SAP PS module to setup financial part of the project only.

Experience in following areas:

• designing and configuration of global processes for projects that can be run across few companies at the same time as subprojects;
• elimination of double counting costs on top level projects for subprojects run on other intercompany entities;
• cost recording to projects in finance and in other modules of the system including time recording;
• should have strong understanding of long term contract accounting, revenue recognition and profit analyses for projects;
• project reporting.

Experience in integration between Microsoft EPM and SAP will be very beneficial.

Requires excellent communication skills in English and very good trainer and problem solver skills are desired.
