Job summary

HireClearedTalent is seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP PS solutions for managing complex projects from planning through monitoring. This is a remote role with quarterly travel.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP PS configuration experience, knowledge of integration with TM and other modules (MM, SD, FI/CO), and a track record of delivering on budget and schedule. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on SAP PS implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of PS master data, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Experience with project costing, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
• Understanding of integration between PS and CO, MM, SD, and FI modules.
• Proficiency in configuring networks, activities, and relationships.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Position: SAP Project System (PS) Consultant

Work Location: Remote

Salary Range: $135,000–$165,000

Travel: Quarterly travel; up to 15%

Target Start: Mid-November

2. Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP PS solutions for managing complex projects throughout planning, execution, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP PS configuration experience and understand integration points between SAP PS and other modules, particularly Transportation Management (TM).

3. Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the SAP PS module, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), networks, activities, and milestones.
• Design and implement project structures, cost planning, budgeting, and resource management solutions.
• Integrate SAP PS with other SAP modules, including TM, MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and PP.
• Develop and maintain project planning, scheduling, and monitoring processes.
• Create and configure project templates and standard structures.
• Support project billing, settlement, and closing activities.
• Conduct user training and prepare end-user documentation.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Participate in testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Stay current with SAP best practices and new PS functionalities.

4. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on SAP PS implementation and support experience.
• Strong knowledge of PS master data, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Experience with project costing, budgeting, and revenue recognition.
• Understanding of integration between PS and CO, MM, SD, and FI modules.
• Proficiency in configuring networks, activities, and relationships.
• Knowledge of resource planning and capacity leveling.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.

5. Technical Skills

• Project Builder, Project Planning Board, and PS reporting tools.
• Claims management and progress analysis.
• Results analysis and settlement configuration.
• SAP Fiori/UI5 experience is a plus.

6. Soft Skills

7. Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Project System with SAP ERP.

8. Client's Must-Have Requirements

• Active security clearance.
• Ability to work remotely with quarterly travel.
• Availability to start around mid-November.
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience is mandatory. Candidates with only end-user experience will not meet the core requirement.
