Cumberland County is seeking a Student Assistance Program Supervisor – Drug & Alcohol Commission to lead the SAP unit across Cumberland and Perry Counties, oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance with DDAP, PDE, SAP and HIPAA. The role provides training, consultation, and program development for school districts.

Requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), at least two years in school‑based behavioral health and one year of supervisory experience, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health education, Education, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification or licensure preferred.
• At least two years of experience in school-based behavioral health, youth services, or drug and alcohol prevention/intervention.
• At least one year supervisory experience and/or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SAP goals, objectives, performance measures, and work procedures.
• Ensure compliance with DDAP, PDE, SAP, HIPPA and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily SAP operations, supervise staff and coordinate meetings.
• Monitor SAP program performance and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Provide SAP consultations and support to school staff; coordinate referrals to treatment providers.
• Travel throughout Cumberland and Perry Counties to deliver SAP services.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in health education, Education, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Social Services or related field

Master’s degree (Preferred)

Certification through PA Certification Board or licensure (Preferred)
