Job summary

TrueNorth Wellness is seeking a full-time Student Assistance Program Liaison to provide consultation to schools in York and Hanover, PA. This role includes conducting mental health assessments and leading support groups.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a human service field, experience with substance abuse is preferred, and be willing to travel to various school districts. Benefits include medical, 401K matching, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience or knowledge of substance abuse is preferred.
• Requires Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check, and Mandated Reporting training.

Pay Rate starts at $16.83 per hour and increases with experience.

Candidate must be willing to travel to any school district in York and Adams County.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to elementary, middle and high school SAP teams.
• Attend regular meetings.
• Conduct mental health and substance use assessments, and make referrals to appropriate services.
• Provide supportive mental health counseling, including Substance Use Disorder education.
• Run school-based support and education groups.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• The position requires three clearances and a training certificate: Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting training.
