Job summary

Devereux Center for Effective Schools is seeking a SAP Liaison to provide prevention, intervention, consultation, and referral services within local public school districts in Montgomery County. You will work with students, families, educators, and community providers to address mental health, substance use, trauma, and barriers to student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of behavioral health/education experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel between school locations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Clearances: Act 33/34, Act 168, PDE, and DPW/FBI Fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, intervention, and referral services to students in the Student Assistance Program.
• Conduct behavioral health screenings and facilitate psychoeducational groups.
• Offer consultation on mental health and substance use concerns.
• Connect students and families to community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure program compliance.
• Build strong relationships with educators, families, and community partners.
