***This is a hybrid position located in our SICK, West Bloomington MN office. The person will work in the office four days a week and can work remotely one day.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Our base salary is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary for this position is listed below. Actual starting salary will depend on experience, skill set, education, performance, licenses/certifications, business needs, and other factors permitted by law.

Starting Base Annual Salary Range:

$83,640 - $126,500

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role primarily supports key users, conducts process and requirement analysis, rollout, testing, and training activities. Depending on skills and demand, it may also involve customization and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service and Support:
  • Able to describe business requirements at a technical level without losing sight of the business need, enabling global collaboration on options.
  • Own and resolve medium to complex incidents within SAP applications without escalation, providing known solutions.
  • Prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve global tickets based on business impact using the ticketing system. Support or take over tickets as needed.
  • Escalate complex incidents appropriately.
  • Possess deep specialized knowledge in own functional area and its relation to the business.
  • Perform proactive problem solving and issue prevention.
  • Support other functional areas with basic understanding of SAP module integrations.
  • Perform root cause analysis, ABAP debugging, and interface support.
  • Build queries independently.
  • Project:
  • Participate in SAP projects, including rollouts, and complete assigned tasks with minimal support.
  • Engage in projects integrating third-party solutions and interfaces to improve business efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and support decision-making with long-term perspectives.
  • Assist headquarters’ development team in configuring or implementing new functionalities.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create and extend documentation for training and support activities.
  • Maintain a knowledge repository to improve response times.
  • Train key users on new functionalities across departments.
  • Process:
  • Identify and propose local process improvements to prevent future issues, aligning with global solutions.
  • Understand the rationale behind process structures to address problems effectively.
  • Share and discuss regional business processes confidently.
  • Collaboration/Communication:
  • Manage global priorities and communicate expectations to the business.
  • Explain technical requirements and their impact to regional teams.
  • Conduct onboarding and build test scenarios for new functionalities, documenting findings thoroughly.
  • Meetings:
  • Facilitate SAP module community engagement among Key-Users through meetings and tracking topics for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with global IT and functional teams within SICK AG.
  • Participate proactively in the Process User Group and serve as a regional representative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or extensive module knowledge and process experience.
  • Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • 5-7+ years as a Business Process Consultant or similar role.

Other Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of business processes and global ERP systems support challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of SICK’s business drivers.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP debugging is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and functional departments.
  • Experience in prioritizing and resolving global tickets based on impact.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
