The Team

The SAP Digital Enterprise service unit is the premier solutions partner for designing and delivering a digitized, high‑performing future to our clients' ecosystems. We deliver this value to our customers by optimizing the performance of our client’s operational processes across the entire value chain, from R&D, production, logistics, purchasing, and sales. The Role

The SAP (e) PPDS Consultant is expected to perform high‑quality project work for our customers, continue to build the Connected Logistics capability in North America, and foster its continued growth within our SAP Digital Enterprise service unit. This role requires a focused and analytical mindset and will require working towards set objectives with a level of autonomy, living a culture of accountability, and taking a hands‑on approach to execution. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. With this in mind, this person will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers as well as support new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure SAP PP/DS solutions to optimise production planning and scheduling.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP best practices.
• Integrate PP/DS with SAP ECC/S4HANA, APO, and other modules like PP, MM, and SD.
• Design and execute heuristics, optimisation, and pegging strategies for effective production scheduling.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide end‑user training and documentation for SAP PP/DS functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP/DS issues while ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and IT.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, IT, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP PP/DS implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of PP/DS heuristics, optimiser, and detailed scheduling strategies.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS (preferred).
• Knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning.
• Experience in CIF (Core Interface) for data transfer between ERP and PP/DS.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA in PP/DS.
• Experience with APO‑DP, SNP, or IBP.
• Familiarity with Fiori apps for PP/DS.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or automotive industries.

Percentage of required travel: up to 100%

Physical requirements:

• This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.

The salary range for this role is $95,000-$115,000. However, it is important to note that at MHP, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
