Symbotic LLC seeks an expert SAP OpenText VIM consultant to lead intelligent invoice automation initiatives. The role covers design, integration, and business advisory responsibilities, with a focus on automation, compliance, and process optimization within SAP S/4HANA AP.

The candidate will drive VIM configuration, SAP ArchiveLink integration, and oversee end-to-end AP processes, collaborating with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years SAP experience with OpenText VIM and SAP FI-AP.
• Experience configuring and optimizing SAP S/4HANA AP processes.
• Proven delivery of invoice automation and VIM solutions.

Responsibilities

• OpenText VIM Functional & Technical Leadership Architect, configure and deploy OpenText VIM solutions across AP processes.
• Lead enhancements, custom developments, troubleshooting, and optimization of VIM-related processes.
• Support AP process design and configuration within SAP S/4HANA, including PO/Non-PO invoices, payment runs, and GR/IR reconciliation.

Job Title: Principal Consultant – OpenText VIM & SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable (Expert-Level Functional + Technical + Business Advisory Role)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Location: Offshore (EST)

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP OpenText VIM consultant with in-depth knowledge of S/4HANA Accounts Payable (AP) processes to lead the delivery of intelligent invoice automation solutions. This hybrid role combines solution design, technical integration, and business process transformation, with a focus on driving value through automation, compliance, and process optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong OpenText VIM expertise, S/4HANA AP process knowledge, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You will act as a trusted advisor and delivery lead, responsible for implementing best-in-class invoice management solutions across finance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• OpenText VIM Functional & Technical Leadership Architect, configure, and deploy OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions, including:
• DP Dashboard Exception handling workflows
• PO and Non-PO invoice scenarios
• Three-way match configuration
• Business Center / Intelligent Capture
• Integrate VIM with SAP ArchiveLink, SAP Workflow, and OCR/ICR solutions.
• Lead enhancements, custom developments, troubleshooting, and optimization of VIM-related processes and components.

• SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable Expertise Support process design and configuration for Accounts Payable within SAP S/4HANA, including:
• PO and Non-PO invoice processing
• Payment processing, clearing, and GR/IR reconciliation
• Tax calculation, validations, and compliance controls
• Vendor master data maintenance and governance
• Optimize S/4HANA AP processes to support intelligent workflows and invoice automation through VIM.
• Ensure AP process integration with Procurement, Finance, and Reporting functions.

• Strategic Business Partnering Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations stakeholders to align AP automation capabilities with business objectives.
• Support initiatives focused on invoice touchless processing, process standardization, and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops, solution reviews, UAT activities, hypercare support, and user enablement.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and process guidance throughout project delivery and production support phases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5+ years of SAP experience with specialization in OpenText VIM and SAP FI-AP.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable processes, including configuration and process optimization.
• Proven experience delivering invoice automation and VIM solutions.
• Hands‑on expertise with: OpenText VIM design and configuration SAP S/4HANA AP processes (invoice posting, payment runs, tax handling, GR/IR reconciliation, validations) OCR/ICR and document capture solutions SAP Workflow integration Basic understanding of ABAP enhancements and technical integrations
• Strong ability to work across business and IT teams, facilitate workshops, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• OpenText VIM certification or equivalent hands‑on implementation experience.
• SAP certification in S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI) or Procurement.
• Experience working in: Shared Services environments Global AP organizations Multi-entity SAP S/4HANA landscapes Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX and audit readiness processes.
