SAP MFG Manager

  • The Business Solutions Manger - Manufacturing ("MFG") will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the processes and technology for the MFG value stream. This role will focus on establishing and aligning key efficiency metrics to drive business outcomes. The position offers significant responsibility, requiring close collaboration with leaders and stakeholders across the company to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and successful execution of cross-functional projects.


Detailed Description:

  • Service as a Technical champion for transformation within, driving innovation and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Support end-to-end (E2E) processes and global transformation initiatives for MFG, aligning with business objectives.
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, providing relevant information to decision-making at the leadership level.
  • Define comprehensive end-to-end technical process requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for the processes within MFG.
  • Oversee process governance within MFG, ensuring effective transformation management and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement across processes and systems.
  • Support the roll-out and adoption of implemented initiatives, ensuring smooth integration and buy-in from all relevant parties.

  • Expertise across capabilities within MFG and understanding of business and user needs.
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP PP, MM, MRP, Quality Management, Warehouse solutions and ancillary systems.
  • Understanding of the systems and toolsets relevant to the functional area, including Production Orders, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Execution, Warehouse Management, and integration with Plant Maintenance and SD modules.
  • Strong relationships with key business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments for reporting and analytics needs.
  • Cross functional expertise regarding integrations to modules such as FICO, PP, MM etc. is required.
  • Provide system solutions enabled by SAP S4 HANA for business requirements
  • Proven team player with ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive under time-sensitive deadlines, maintaining a calm, solution-focused demeanor when faced with challenges Strong organization skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, prioritizing tasks with many distractions, and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet challenging deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience and relevant certifications.
  • 10 + years of relevant work experience in consulting, SAP techno-functional support, and/or corporate financial systems roles focusing on SAP PP/Manufacturing modules.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certification of other certifications
  • Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing and Quality Management
  • Experience with Extended Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • Experience with BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Experience leading value streams during SAP implementations or providing long-term support for Manufacturing.
  • Experience with international operations.
  • Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment.
