Job summary

Builders FirstSource seeks an SAP MDG Functional Lead Analyst to drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of SAP MDG processes. You will lead requirements, governance alignment, testing, and stakeholder decisions, translating business needs into scalable MDG solutions while guiding the technical teams.

You will own MDG data models, business rules, and validation logic, mentor analysts, and ensure designs align with enterprise architecture during SAP rollouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of SAP functional experience including MDG.
• 3+ years leading SAP MDG functional workstreams and cross-functional delivery.
• Ability to direct technical delivery without being the primary developer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP MDG functional lead and SME for assigned master data domains.
• Lead discovery, requirements, process design, and workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, designs, and acceptance criteria.
• Own functional solution decisions and recommend scalable MDG approaches balancing value and complexity.
• Define functional requirements for MDG data models, workflows, and validations.
• Provide guidance to technical teams on configuration, integrations, and development; review solutions for alignment.
