Job summary

NeerInfo Solutions seeks an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to lead full life-cycle implementations, execute MDG implementations, and manage onsite and offshore teams. Proficiency in configuration, data modelling, and UI modelling is essential, along with Agile project management skills.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be well-versed in English, and have a proactive problem-solving approach. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and experience with ECC and/or S/4HANA is advantageous.

Job description

• Work with various technical teams to develop future state solution architecture to support MDG implementation.
• Execute all phases of MDG implementation.
• Develop solution/design recommendations for data modelling, integration, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Share perspectives about best practices, common technical issues, and approach.
• Perform hands‑on configurations on SAP MDG framework for data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+.
• Review and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specification documents.
• Configure SAP MDG and replication configurations.
• Design and create UI, apply value restrictions, define navigation elements (hyperlink or push button), ensure data quality, and implement validation and derivation rules.
• Have technical knowledge of MDG workflows and UI field property changes.
• Have technical knowledge of ERP tables.
• Manage full life‑cycle implementation including blueprinting, fit‑gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go‑live experience.
• Prepare SIT test scripts as per functional spec requirements and execute SIT independently.
• Replicate master data using IDocs, RFC, and web services.
• Expertise in key/value mapping is a plus.
• Develop SAP MDG customizations for data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules, derivations, BRF+, and replication configurations.
• Customize MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, and BRF+ (decision table configurations and BAdI implementations).
• Develop data quality BAdIs (validations, derivations), ABAP, and WDABAP framework customizations in SAP MDG.
• Customize FPM and UI.
• Customize data replication framework (IDocs, RFC, web services).
• Use MDG APIs and their use cases.
• Design technical solutions, understand FIT gaps, and suggest workarounds for SAP MDG.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑versed in English with excellent spoken and written skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Lead a large implementation team.
• Coordinate onsite and offshore teams.
• Plan projects and manage status in an Agile‑Scrum fashion.
• Use tools such as Dynamics, RevTracks, and JIRA to access defects and incidents.
• Extensive experience with ECC and/or S/4HANA; experience with other SAP modules such as MM/SD is an advantage.
