Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz seeks a Master Data Clerk for its Frederick, Maryland facility to maintain material master data in SAP, supporting production, inventory, planning and delivery. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Production teams to ensure data accuracy and BOM integrity.

The on-site position emphasizes data governance, process improvements, and timely updates to material records, BOMs, and inventory parameters to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain material master records in SAP (material classifications, warehouse assignments, material types).
• Process material master updates using SAP MM02.
• Maintain component lists and update BOMs within SAP.
• Establish and monitor inventory safety stock levels and adjust as needed.
• Transfer and release BOMs in SAP to support production requirements.
• Support inventory planning and data governance standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams on data changes.
