Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz (China) Technology Co., Ltd. seeks a materials data specialist to manage SAP master data and BOMs. You will create and update material records, maintain classifications and BOMs, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy and production readiness.

The role involves proactive stock level management, SAP MM02 updates, and governance to support efficient material planning and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and editing material master records in SAP.
• Knowledge of material classifications, BOMs and inventory data governance.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain material master records in SAP, including classifications, warehouse assignments, material types and related master data.
• Process material master updates using SAP MM02.
• Maintain and update component lists to ensure accuracy and alignment with product requirements.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain inventory safety stock levels with proactive adjustments.
• Perform POP data entry activities for the VCS program.
• Transfer and release Bills of Materials (BOMs) within SAP to support production requirements.
• Execute mass material updates and data maintenance activities within SAP.
• Support inventory planning and material management through accurate master data administration.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Production teams to implement material and BOM changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, inventory management, and SAP processes.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and data governance standards.
