Job summary

VDS Consulting Group is seeking a SAP Master Data Solution Specialist for our client’s Long Island, NY operations. The role focuses on designing and configuring master data solutions and governance to ensure clean data across finance, supply chain and sales processes.

You will lead SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation work, applying SAP Activate methodology and translating business needs into master data governance designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, data management or related field.
• 5+ years SAP master data management, incl. 2+ years on SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Hands-on SAP Activate and Agile delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality and master data lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Apply SAP Activate across discover, prepare, explore, realize, deploy and run phases.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs for master data governance.

The Opportunity

The company is adding a master data specialist to its SAP S/4HANA Cloud team. You will own the design and configuration of master data solutions and the governance that keeps them clean, so that finance, supply chain and sales processes run on data the business can trust. It’s a role with broad reach: every module depends on what you build.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation work, owning master data management configuration and best practices.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Data Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP master data management implementation and support experience, including at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate and Agile delivery.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance and the master data lifecycle.
• Ability to work across many stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have: SAP Fiori apps and embedded analytics; SAP master data or S/4HANA certification (highly desirable).
