Job summary

VDS Consulting Group is seeking an SAP Finance (FICO) Solution Specialist to lead and implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud finance and controlling configurations on a global manufacturing platform. You will design, configure, and optimize core finance processes and ensure seamless integration with MM and SD, partnering with finance stakeholders and SAP peers.

The Opportunity

The company is adding an SAP FICO specialist to its SAP S/4HANA Cloud team. You will design, configure and optimize the finance and controlling solutions that run a global manufacturing business, working side by side with finance stakeholders and fellow SAP specialists. If you want to shape a modern S/4HANA Cloud finance landscape rather than maintain a legacy one, this is that role.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation work, owning FICO configuration and best practices.
• Gather business requirements and turn them into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Configure core Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and financial close.
• Configure Controlling, including cost center and profit center accounting and product costing.
• Ensure clean integration with MM, SD and other modules for true end-to-end processes.
• Run workshops with finance stakeholders and support user training and change management.
• Support unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Resolve complex issues, provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on new S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP FICO implementation and support experience, including at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Strong command of financial accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting and period-end close.
• Ability to work across many stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have: SAP Activate methodology experience; SAP Fiori apps and embedded analytics; SAP FICO or S/4HANA certification (highly desirable).
