Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Specialist, Production Finance Systems to support the setup and ongoing maintenance of production data across Finance platforms.

You will configure setup data in SAP master data, WBS, GL Prod, and related fields to ensure accurate downstream workflows. The role requires proactive problem solving, ownership of the production setup lifecycle, and collaboration with IT, Production Finance, and external partners to maintain data

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in production finance, accounting systems, or master data.
• Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production title setup across Production Finance systems.
• Configure and maintain production setup data in internal tools (MPM, WBS, GL Prod, etc.).
• Maintain master data ownership across systems for accurate downstream workflows.
• Apply SAP knowledge to support production setup including WBS and coding strings.
• Coordinate with SAP master data teams IT, Production Finance, and Production Accounting to ensure data readiness.
• Manage onboarding and ongoing maintenance for production setup lifecycle.
• Validate location accounting software setup requirements (GL Prod, payroll IDs).
• Review setup requests for missing information and potential downstream impacts.
