Job summary

SICK is seeking a SAP Technical Analyst II - Logistics to support global SAP applications, focusing on incident resolution, project rollouts, and process documentation. This role is based at the Bloomington, MN campus with a hybrid schedule (office four days, remote one day).

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent, strong ABAP knowledge, and experience with SAP modules like S/4, EWM, WM, TM, and related interfaces, to optimize logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP S/4, EWM, WM, TM, GTT, LBN, LE, LE-TRA rollout.
• Development of concepts and technical implementation of new logistics requirements in SAP in collaboration with Germany Experts.
• Good technical understanding, preferably ABAP programming.
• Knowledge of fully automated warehouse management.
• Material flow optimization and digitalization of the supply chain in an innovative environment.
• Optimization and standardization of IT processes in logistics in close cooperation with the business units.
• Experience prioritizing, trouble shooting and resolving global tickets based on business impact.
• Good analytical, logical problem-solving skills and understanding of business processes.

Responsibilities

• Describe business requirements at a technical level to enable global collaboration.
• Own and rectify medium to complex SAP incidents without escalation by providing known working solutions.
• Prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve global tickets based on business impact.
• Perform root cause analysis, ABAP, reading/debugging and interface support.
• Build queries independently.
• Participate in SAP projects (rollouts) and complete work tasks with limited support.
• Handle tasks involving third party solutions/interfaces for efficiency gains.
• Extend or create training documents and maintain a knowledge repository.
• Identify local process optimizations and share regional business processes.
• Collaborate with global IT HQ and SAP module support teams.
