Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Manager in Technology Analysis to lead SAP IS-U data-conversion workstreams within complex utility programs, providing functional and delivery leadership from migration strategy through production cutover and stabilization.

You will own data-conversion strategy, waves, reconciliation, and cutover readiness while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring audit-ready evidence. Travel up to 40-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including 3+ years leading a workstream or team.
• Proven ownership of functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and risks, and decisions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance business outcomes, solution quality, delivery constraints, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own data-conversion strategy, scope, governance, delivery plans, and readiness for the SAP IS-U program or release.
• Define conversion waves, object sequencing, ownership, reconciliation controls, acceptance criteria, and decision gates across utility data domains.
• Lead source-system assessments and data-quality planning with business owners, establishing remediation ownership, and resolving migration-readiness gaps.
• Set the functional and technical approach for mapping, transformation, tooling, staging, loads, and repeatable mock-conversion cycles.
• Coordinate SAP functional leads, source-system teams, ETL developers, data stewards, business owners, and cutover leadership across meter-to-cash workstreams.
• Governing mock loads, defect priorities, conversion metrics, control totals, financial and operational reconciliation, and formal sign-off.
• Own cutover readiness, load sequencing, contingency planning, production execution coordination, and post-load validation.
• Manage team capacity, risks, scope, estimates, and executive decisions while ensuring knowledge transfer and audit-ready evidence.
