Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a motivated SAP Integration Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support SAP integration solutions using ABAP and modern API frameworks. This is a remote US-based position with responsibilities spanning end-to-end development and collaboration across stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA PI/PO, API integration, and delivering reliable, well-documented software. Willingness to travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' experience in SAP S/4HANA PI/PO and modern API frameworks for system-to-system integration.
• Significant experience modifying software based on complex specifications and designs.
• Proven ability to develop, test, and deliver incremental, reliable code.
• Experience documenting technical projects and producing user training materials.
• Experience producing database extracts and managing baselines and configuration items.
• Experience collaborating across large teams to drive technical agendas and work with complex data flows; willingness to travel up to 10%.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP (Systems Analysis Program) Integration Developer to join our team. This is a remote position.

The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) uses the ABAP development stack to develop end user business applications, and you would be responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post release support of SAP Integration solution architecture.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Modifying software systems based upon detailed software specifications and designs.
• Using sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, and understandable.
• Designing, coding, and testing functional components of information systems according to project specifications.
• Developing project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
• Producing database extracts to support system data requirements and reporting.
• Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.
• Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and least 3 years' experience in incorporating a combination of SAP S/4HANA PI/PO skills and modern API framework to enable system-to-system, communication, data exchange, and integration is required.
• Significant experience modifying software based upon complex software specifications and technical designs.
• Proven experience using sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code for reliability and efficiency.
• Experience designing code and testing functional components of information systems according to specific project requirements.
• Experience developing technical project documentation and comprehensive user training materials.
• Experience producing database extracts and maintaining system baselines and configuration management items.
• Experience working across a large team to drive a technical agenda and working with complex, intertwined systems and data flows Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.
• Good knowledge of user interfaces, SAP development tools, UI frameworks aand SAP Business Technology Platform.
• SAP and Profressional Certifications desired

Clearance Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and be willing and able to undergo a Tier 2 Investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
