Freelance Opportunity: SAP GRC Functional Consultant

We are currently supporting a leading automotive group in the Middle East with the implementation and optimisation of their SAP GRC landscape. They are seeking an experienced SAP GRC Functional Consultant to join their project team on a remote freelance basis for an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional expertise across the SAP GRC suite (Access Control, Process Control, Risk Management).
• Configure and support GRC Access Control components including ARA, EAM, BRM, and ARM.
• Conduct risk analysis, design mitigation controls, and support the definition of SoD rule sets.
• Collaborate with internal security and audit teams to align GRC processes with business and compliance requirements.
• Support integration with S/4HANA and Fiori-based authorisation models.
• Deliver workshops and training to internal stakeholders on GRC usage and governance.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance on best practices for governance, risk, and compliance in an SAP environment.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a SAP GRC Functional Consultant.
• Proven track record with SAP Access Control (especially ARA and EAM).
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA security concepts and integration with GRC.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with remote teams.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, internal audit, and compliance.
