Job summary

SMX is seeking SAP Functional SMEs to serve as the domain authority for Army financial processes. You will guide the extraction of legacy business logic from GFEBS BW into configurable LCNC workflows, ensuring strict adherence to accounting validations, posting rules, and full audit logging.

Your expertise will shape how the Army handles statements of transactions, funds distribution, payroll reclassifications, and readiness reporting, with a focus on SAP BW/ECC and data structures.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance required.
• 5+ years SAP functional or technical experience with BW/ECC.
• Deep knowledge of SAP data structures, processes, interfaces, and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SAP applications and document business processes to translate into platform-independent requirements.
• Define config and validation rules for capabilities like Statement of Transactions, FB50 Reclassification, EFD, and Spend Plans.
• Map legacy LOA and master data derivations for DDRS and MILPERS.
• Support UAT, triage exceptions, and transition Level 1 support to sustainment team.
