Job summary

SMX is seeking a Technical and Security Architect to design an enterprise-grade LCNC architecture for Army financial integration. You will establish the technical baseline for interoperation with GFEBS and external partners, ensuring data ingestion, workflows, and API boundaries meet DoD cybersecurity and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
• 5+ years of enterprise application or systems integration experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions while modernizing legacy applications.

Responsibilities

• Establish controlled integration environments, source connectivity, and export pathways for SAP and external reporting destinations.
• Define and validate authentication, authorization, RBAC, and comprehensive audit logging across all workflows.
• Ensure sensitive financial transactions and write-back functions are auditable and adhere to least privilege.
