Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Architecture Analyst to bridge functional finance teams with LCNC engineers. You will design data schemas, map workflows, and translate Army-wide financial requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Key duties include documenting data structures, developing use cases, and drafting data dictionaries and SOPs to support the handoff. A Secret Clearance and 5+ years of analysis experience are required.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
5+ years of business or functional analysis experience supporting enterprise IT systems.
Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and supporting system migration efforts.

Responsibilities

Document business processes, data structures, calculations, workflows, and write-back processes to transition functionality off GFEBS BW.
Develop use cases, user stories, and maintain requirements traceability from current state through LCNC implementation.
Draft essential user guides, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the sustainment handoff.
Communicate effectively with both functional users and technical integration teams to ensure data ingestion preserves source lineage and control totals.
