Job summary

CTG is an SAP-focused consulting partner seeking a Finance Functional Consultant to support a Houston-based project. The role emphasizes SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba with public sector financial processes, funds and grants management, and complex migrations.

The candidate will oversee compliance, manage COSA stakeholders, and provide executive guidance for IBM delivery, removing roadblocks to keep the transformation on track.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

CTG is seeking to fill a SAP Finance Functional Consultant opening for our client in Houston, TX.

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 12 months

Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to TSLAC, 2 CFR 200, and IRC retention policies, while supporting audits, controls, and security validation. Stakeholder Management: Engage COSA stakeholders, provide executive oversight for IBM delivery, support escalations, and remove strategic roadblocks to ensure alignment with transformation objectives.

Required skills:

• Extensive experience in financial management and ERP implementations, particularly with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba.
• Strong understanding of public sector financial processes and best practices, to include Funds Management and Grants Management.
• Proven track record of managing complex financial migrations and integrations.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage integrated project plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and data governance.
