Value Driven Solutions, Inc. is seeking an SAP Finance (FICO) Solution Specialist to join its SAP S/4HANA Cloud team on a global manufacturing program, based in Long Island, NY.

You will design, configure and optimize the finance and controlling solutions, work with finance stakeholders, and drive end-to-end processes including GL, AP, AR, asset accounting and close. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP FICO implementation and support experience, including at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Strong command of financial accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting and period-end close.
• Ability to work across many stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation work, owning FICO configuration and best practices.
• Gather business requirements and turn them into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Configure core Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and financial close.
• Configure Controlling, including cost center and profit center accounting and product costing.
• Ensure clean integration with MM, SD and other modules for true end-to-end processes.
• Run workshops with finance stakeholders and support user training and change management.
• Support unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Resolve complex issues, provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on new S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.
