• Ability to lead SAP Finance workstreams with minimal supervision and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve finance processes through detailed system analysis, identifying risks and gaps.
• Serve as primary functional authority for assigned SAP Finance scope and guide solution decisions.
• Coordinate with solution architects, developers, BASIS, middleware, and business analysts to deliver integrated SAP Finance solutions.
• Define and manage test strategies and lead large, complex testing efforts including UAT and defect management.
• Oversee maintenance, sustainment, and enhancements for SAP Finance modules post go-live.

Position Summary

The SAP Finance Consultant is responsible for leading complex SAP Finance solution design, configuration, and implementation activities across multiple functional domains, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Funds Management. This individual is a recognized Subject Matter Expert, operating with minimal oversight, owning SAP Finance workstreams or key solution components, and serving as a trusted functional authority within project teams and with client stakeholders.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Designs andimproves financebusiness processes through detailed system analysis,identifyingrisks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Serves as the primary functional authority for assigned Finance scope, guiding solution decisions and resolving complex functional issues with multiple variables.
• Coordinates across solution architects, developers, BASIS, middleware, portal teams, and business analysts to deliver integrated SAP Finance solutions that meet functional, technical, and compliance requirements.
• Defines and manages comprehensive test strategies andleadslarge, complex test efforts, including integration testing, user acceptance testing support, defect management, and stabilization activities.
• Overseesmaintenance, sustainment, and enhancement activities for SAP Finance modules, including evaluation of change requests, impact analysis, and recommendations for solution approaches.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related fieldand5-7years of relevantSAPFinance functional experience, includingcomplexconfigurationand implementation responsibilities; orno degree and7-10years of relevant experience.
• Must be in the Columbus, Ohio area and willing to travel onsite to the location
• Demonstratedexpertisein implementing and supporting SAP Finance solutions across multiple functional domains (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Funds Management).
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with multiple variables and to lead defined SAP Finance workstreams with minimal supervision.
• Strong experience coordinating across functional, technical, and architectural teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
• Experience leading complex testing efforts and stabilizing SAP Finance solutions throughgo‑live.
• Ability to obtainaGovernmentclearance, which requiresU.S. Citizenship.

Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000 – $125,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
