Job summary

RGP is seeking a dynamic SAP FICO analyst to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency in finance and costing processes using SAP and related IT tools. This onsite role in Centennial, CO will support IT initiatives in Finance and Controlling and partner with IT and business teams to implement technical solutions.

You will handle production support, change management, and costing configurations across SAP ECC/S4HANA, ensuring accurate cost flows and successful project cutovers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in IT, engineering, finance, or accounting.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP ERP or S/4.
• Strong SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, RICEFW, ABAP (preferred), Vertex tax, fixed assets.
• Product Cost Controlling configuration in SAP including MTO scenarios, cost elements, cost centers, internal orders, and CO-PA.
• Data migration, cutover management, and training for new costing configurations.
• Integration with FI/CO and MM, SD, and other SAP modules for accurate cost flow data.
• Costing scenario management for different production or sales environments.
• Strong accounting and costing principles; experience in application support and development teams.

Job description

Looking for a dynamic and self-motivated SAP FICO analyst to help drive innovation and increase operational efficiency in operations processes using SAP and other IT tools.

Work Location: 4 days onsite in Centennial, CO 80112

Duration: 6+ (with possibility to convert)

Pay Rate Range: $70/hr-$80/hr

What you will work on

This role will be part of IT SAP team and support IT initiatives in Finance and Controlling. This role will be responsible for partnering with IT and business team members to develop technical solutions, support break/fix issues, perform change management activities, and support the effective execution of Production and Launch activities in numerous IT systems, including, but not limited to standard and custom developed systems in SAP FICO and Fiori. This role requires knowledge in FICO with an emphasis in Costing within SAP ECC and S/4 modules.

• BS Degree in IT, engineering, Finance, Accounting or related area of study
• 8+ years of experience in SAP ERP or S/4
• Strong SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Function Modules, Workflows), ABAP (preferred), Vertex tax, fixed assets
• Product Cost Controlling Configuration: Set up and maintain Product Cost Controlling (PCO) in SAP, including Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios, cost elements, cost centers, internal orders, and profitability analysis (CO-PA) to meet business reporting needs
• Data Migration & Cutover: Lead or support costing data migration, cutover management, and training for new costing configurations
• Integration with Other Modules: Ensure integration between FI and CO with Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and other SAP modules for accurate cost flow data
• Costing Scenario Management: Support and maintain costing scenarios for different production or sales environments (e.g., MTO, MTS)
• Strong functional knowledge of accounting and costing principles
• Experience in application support and development teams
• Problem-solving techniques; curious, team player and leader; attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable information
• Capable to go deep in details without losing the big picture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Aerospace & Defense
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP S/4 and ECC 6.0
• Experience in at least one major project transition from ECC to S/4 HANA
• Experience with ABAP for costing-related customizations and debugging
• Previous costing experience and a demonstrated track record of implementing costing configuration and improvements
• Experience building trusting relationships with the finance and costing teams
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT
• Ability to demonstrate achievement of results (e.g. business improvements, cost savings, service improvements)
