Job summary

DistributionNOW is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Analyst to configure and support SAP FI/CO, ensuring accurate financial close and robust reporting. You will partner with Accounting, Treasury, Tax and FP&A, supporting ERP harmonization after the MRC Global merger and guiding FI/CO integration with SD/MM/PP/WM.

The role involves leading SOX-related controls, contributing to S/4HANA readiness, and coordinating testing, cutover, and training activities across multiple legal entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration and support experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA
• At least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation, rollout or major upgrade
• Working knowledge of FI/CO integration points with SD, MM and inventory valuation
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), financial close and intercompany processes
• Experience supporting SOX controls and external audits in a public company
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and test plans
• Clear written and verbal communication with finance leaders and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Configure, support and improve SAP FI/CO modules across General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting
• Lead ERP harmonization and consolidation efforts after the MRC Global merger
• Provide Tier2/3 support for finance users and resolve incidents within SLA
• Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, including allocations and revaluations
• Own FI/CO integration with SD, MM, PP and WM and manage period-end inventory valuation
• Gather requirements and write functional specs for ABAP/integration development
• Plan and run testing and cutover activities; assist with migration readiness
