Job summary

Avantor is seeking a seasoned Mid-Senior SAP FICO Systems Analyst to lead the FI/CO configuration and support on SAP S/4HANA. You will partner with Finance to translate complex requirements into scalable SAP configurations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient close processes.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, certification, and hands-on ABAP familiarity. Expect a challenging, high-impact role within a global, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years hands-on SAP FICO experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred; high school diploma required.
• Certification: SAP FICO or S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA Finance and Costing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; corporate tax procedures.
• ABAP familiarity for troubleshooting and debugging.
• Experience supporting ERP migrations, carve-outs or M&A.
• BI/Data Warehousing exposure; SAC and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of FI/CO modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA and Product Costing.
• Lead FP&A reporting using SAC and Power BI.
• Oversee integration between FI/CO and PP/MM/SD.
• Gather and document business requirements; translate to detailed specs.
• Provide month-, quarter-, year-end close guidance and support.
• Design, development, and testing activities.
