Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Mid-Senior SAP FICO Systems Analyst to partner with Finance/Accounting. You will design, configure, and support SAP FI/CO on SAP S/4HANA, translating complex requirements into scalable configurations and clear business insights.

You will oversee GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, and product costing with actual costing via Material Ledger, and lead FP&A reporting using SAC and Power BI. Strong M&A experience and BI tooling are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Analyst, Consultant, or equivalent functional engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and configuration on SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA Finance.
• Solid understanding of US-GAAP and IFRS and corporate tax procedures.
• Ability to translate financial requirements into scalable SAP FICO configurations and present insights to stakeholders.
• Comfort with ABAP and standard user exits or substitution rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP FI/CO components (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA).
• Drive FP&A reporting using SAC and Power BI.
• Oversee integration between FI/CO and PP/MM/SD and ensure accurate financial close processes.
