Job summary

Venteon is actively seeking a SAP FI/CO Business Process Owner to lead the S/4HANA CO implementation across multiple manufacturing locations in the Americas from our Fairlawn, OH area. The role requires deep expertise in CO processes, finance operations, and project collaboration with IT and business teams.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite) and travel up to 50% to support project activities. No visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or controlling experience with SAP CO implementation experience; or 10 years of accounting/controlling experience with SAP CO implementation experience in lieu of a degree.
• Understanding of operational/manufacturing finance and/or accounting.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task, self-starter, problem-solver, and able to work independently.
• Strong process orientation and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work productively with others in a team environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert in the SAP S/4HANA CO module.
• Understand the overall business model of assigned locations, including preparation and kickoff phases.
• Perform fit-to-template analysis and integration tests with local CO key users and IT.
• Identify local needs and collaborate with project teams and end-users to address them.
• Work with key users of other SAP modules to ensure proper process integration.
• Interact with subject matter experts and plant controllers to ensure the functionality of financial processes.
• Train local end-users and provide first-level support for questions and concerns.
• Support plants during the hyper-care phase after go-live.
• Identify, document, and share lessons learned after each implementation.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

• Take a leading role in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA across multiple manufacturing locations in the Americas.
• Work in a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) and collaborate with teams at various U.S. locations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP S/4HANA CO modules, focusing on manufacturing finance, controlling, and cost accounting.
• Travel up to 50% as needed to support project activities.
• No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship is available for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Operational controlling and/or cost accounting experience.
• Previous involvement in S/4HANA project implementations.
