Job summary

Venteon is seeking a SAP SD/EWM Business Process Owner to govern, optimize, and support SD/EWM processes in SAP S/4HANA. You will bridge business stakeholders with IT/SAP teams to standardize local O2C processes and ensure alignment with templates and best practices.

You will lead SD workstreams for S/4HANA, perform fit-gap analyses, and drive continuous improvement across order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and master data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SAP SD or Customer Service experience (preferably S/4HANA).
• Experience in SAP or SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.
• Proven experience in Order-to-Cash process optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, EWM, and/or TM.

Responsibilities

• Own and standardize local end-to-end O2C processes (order entry, delivery, billing, invoicing, returns).
• Drive harmonization of SD processes across regions, plants, and distribution centers.
• Act as functional expert for SAP SD/EWM in S/4HANA, incl. customer master, pricing, billing, accruals, rebates, credit mgmt.
• Translate business requirements into SAP specs; liaison between business users and SAP/IT.
• Lead SD workstreams for S/4HANA implementations and rollouts; data cleansing & validation.
• Define fit-gap analyses, test scenarios, cutover, and hyper-care; ensure data accuracy.

Venteon is currently seeking a SAP SD/EWM Business Process Owner to fill an opening with a company located in Fairlawn, OH.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYServe as a business-facing expert responsible for governing, optimizing, and supporting Sales & Distribution (SD) and/or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment.Act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and IT/SAP teams, ensuring local Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes are standardized, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.Play a key role in S/4HANA local and business area implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving process excellence across sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and customer master data.Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Fairlawn, OH, with up to 50% travel depending on implementation activity.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGOwn and standardize local end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including order entry, delivery, billing, invoicing, and returns.Drive harmonization of SD processes across regions, plants, and distribution centers.Ensure alignment with business area/global templates, best practices, and compliance requirements.Act as the functional expert for SAP SD/EWM in S/4HANA, including customer master, sales orders, route schedules, pricing, billing, quoting, accruals, rebates, and credit management.Ensure proper integration with MM, FI, and logistics processes.Translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications and serve as the primary liaison between business users and SAP/IT teams.Support workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution validation for local and business area projects.Lead SD workstream activities for S/4HANA implementations and rollouts, including data cleansing and validation.Define and execute functions related to fit-gap analysis, test scenarios, testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover, and hyper-care.Validate system changes to ensure alignment with business processes and ensure data accuracy and process stability before go-live.Act as a trainer and subject matter expert for business users, developing training materials and SOPs to drive user adoption and best practice usage.Provide operational support for SD-related issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Create IT work requests after troubleshooting and manage completion and communication of status to business users for SAP.WHAT IS REQUIREDBachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.2+ years of SAP SD or Customer Service experience (preferably S/4HANA).Experience in SAP or SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.Proven experience in Order-to-Cash process optimization.Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSAP SD or S/4HANA certification.5+ years of SAP SD or Customer Service experience (preferably S/4HANA).Knowledge of SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, and/or TM.Experience in global or multi-site implementations.Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, testing strategies, and change management frameworks.Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD configuration and Fiori apps.Understanding of IDOCs, interfaces, and data flows.If you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high performing company and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to submit your resume in Microsoft Word format to [e-mail] treat all resumes with strict confidentiality.
