• Experience with SAP master data and planning parameters; excellent business analysis skills.

Position Overview

As an SAP ERP – Forecasting & Planning Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing enterprise forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning processes within the SAP ERP landscape.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, planners, and technical teams to understand business requirements, analyze planning processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and SAP ERP processes, along with excellent business analysis and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand current planning processes, challenges, and future-state requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Support configuration and enhancement of SAP planning and forecasting processes.
• Analyze historical demand, forecasts, inventory, production capacity, and supply requirements to support planning decisions.
• Support demand forecasting, statistical forecasting, and planning processes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and IT teams.
• Support integration between forecasting/planning processes and SAP MM, PP, SD, and other related modules.
• Analyze planning data and identify trends, exceptions, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support master-data requirements related to materials, plants, planning parameters, and other planning objects.
• Develop business process documentation, functional specifications, process flows, and requirements documentation.
• Support system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Troubleshoot planning-related issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Support SAP enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and process transformation initiatives.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and planning-reporting requirements.
• Provide training and support to business users and planners.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and business performance.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as an SAP Business Analyst / Functional Consultant with strong forecasting and planning experience.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, inventory planning, and S&OP processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP planning processes.
• Experience working with SAP PP, MM, SD, or other supply-chain-related modules.
• Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
• Experience with SAP master data and planning parameters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large volumes of business and planning data.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP IBP or other advanced planning solutions is highly preferred.
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, and planning analytics is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Customer-service mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
