Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) is seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to support and enhance SAP Finance applications across the Plan-to-Report landscape. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective SAP solutions and support the full SAP Finance ecosystem.

The role emphasizes hands-on FI-CO configuration, FP&A understanding, and strong collaboration with finance, IT, and application support teams in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst / SAP FI-CO Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI-CO configuration.
• Solid understanding of Finance, Accounting, and FP&A processes.
• Experience with Plan-to-Report / R2R disciplines and financial close.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance SAP Plan-to-Report (P2R) processes and applications.
• Perform hands-on SAP FI-CO configuration based on business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements from Finance, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into effective SAP functional solutions.
• Support core SAP Finance processes including General Ledger, A/P, A/R, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting, and Closing.
• Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver SAP and OneStream solutions.
• Participate in SAP enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and cloud transitions (RISE).
• Support testing activities including unit, integration, and UAT.

Position Overview

As an SAP Business Analyst – Plan-to-Report, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing SAP Finance applications and business processes across the Plan-to-Report (P2R) landscape.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with SAP FI-CO configuration along with a solid understanding of Finance, Accounting, and FP&A processes. Experience with OneStream implementation or administration is strongly preferred.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, technical teams, and application support teams to analyze requirements, optimize business processes, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective SAP solutions in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance SAP Plan‑to‑Report (P2R) business processes and applications.
• Perform hands‑on SAP FI-CO configuration based on business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP functional solutions.
• Support core SAP Finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Financial Closing.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
• Troubleshoot SAP FI‑CO functional issues and provide timely resolution.
• Work closely with business users to understand issues, provide recommendations, and deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Support OneStream applications, including implementation, administration, configuration, or ongoing support activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams, developers, integration teams, and other SAP functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in SAP enhancements, projects, upgrades, migrations, and application modernization initiatives.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare functional specifications and other required project documentation.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and problem management.
• Work within established change‑management, release‑management, and application‑support processes.
• Support the organization’s transition toward SAP RISE / SAP cloud‑based solutions.
• Stay current with emerging SAP capabilities and technologies, including SAP Joule and AI‑enabled business processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience as an SAP Business Analyst / SAP FI‑CO Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP FI‑CO configuration.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, and FP&A business processes.
• Experience supporting Plan‑to‑Report / Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes.
• Experience with financial close, reporting, reconciliation, and accounting processes.
• OneStream implementation or administration experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
• Strong experience with SAP functional troubleshooting and production support.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and cross‑functional technical teams.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Exposure to SAP RISE / SAP Cloud environments is a plus.
• Knowledge or exposure to SAP Joule, AI-enabled SAP capabilities, or intelligent automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business and technology requirements.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving enterprise environment.
