Job description

For one of our clients in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, we’re looking for a freelance SAP EHS Consultant with focus on Product Safety.

Project Name

• Regulatory topics
• E2E raw material processing
• SAP product safety enhancements

Project Description

The project “Regulatory topics” covers multiple SAP P03 product safety related developments needed to fulfil regulatory requirements.

Planned activities are:

• updating logic for SDS shipping
• GHS updates for various countries, requiring update of WWI templates and our label interface
• There is no in-house expertise for RM. The requested services are provided fully remotely and no internal employees are working on them.

Task Description:

• Analysis of the additional requirements and professional consultation of the project team with regards to the best implementation approach. Requirements will be discussed in joint calls with Henkel dx and business.
• Writing a completion of Functional design (FD) and Technical Design (TD) for the development of the requested EHS functionalities (based on the collected business requirements and as described in the Change Requests, FD and TD above).
• Implementation of the agreed changes (ABAP programming, WWI).
• Performing technical unit test for the developed functionality before handing it over to the Henkel team.
• Updating of logic for SDS shipping.
• Updating of GHS updates for various countries, requiring update of WWI templates and our label interface.

Additional requirements:

• Min. 5 years experience in SAP product safety, especially WWI.
• Basic understanding of regulatory background.
• Good mastering of the different technologies used for WWI reports (e.g. report symbols, conditional output, stack processing).
• ABAP skills allowing creation/update of function modules for WWI.
• Broader ABAP experience with focus product safety welcome.
• Good English language skills required.
