Job description

Job Title: SAP EHS-GLM Consultant (Remote)

PPG Industries, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a work-at-home SAP EHS-GLM Consultant to support the Global SAP Centre of Excellence. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States and involves designing and implementing technical SAP network solutions based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Propose SAP program configurations and recommend system improvements.
2. Determine design specifications and optimize SAP process improvements and technology implementations.
3. Develop and document testing procedures for SAP solutions.
4. Evaluate all proposed IT solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• At least five (5) years of relevant post-baccalaureate experience.
• Experience with SAP EHS and GLM modules, including end-to-end business processes in Product Safety, Global Label Management, Dangerous Goods, and Substance Volume Monitoring.
• Experience in process design, configuration, troubleshooting of SAP modules, and working with ABAP, including RICEFW objects & interfaces.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
