Job summary

Pregis in Indiana is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to oversee buying, planning, scheduling, admin support and reporting in a growing cold chain start-up group. The role requires strong SAP experience and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a cross-functional team, support plant operations, maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts, and drive continuous improvement in scheduling and supplier performance using Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics required.
• 3-5 years of planning experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in a logistics function preferred.
• Knowledge of the protective packaging industry is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and related tools (Excel expertise is a must); knowledge of SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support for Plant Operations and SAP-related tasks.
• Maintain SAP system knowledge, manage material transactions and planning.
• Gather data and produce reports for Operations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor purchase orders.
• Maintain cycle counts and update BOM and routings.
• Lead production scheduling and monitor inventory targets.
