Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking a Dispatcher in Phoenix to manage work orders, tool check-out and parts delivery. You will interact with technicians and use SAP and CMMS to track inventory and record data. The role requires accurate typing and strong computer skills.

Typical duties include receiving and issuing tools, maintaining paperwork, and coordinating with service teams. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work Monday through Friday on day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in an Industrial setting preferred; forklift experience or ability to learn is required.
• Must have SAP experience.
• Excellent typing, communication and computer skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and elicit information needed to create a work order in SAP.
• Checks out tools upon proper request.
• Completes requisite paperwork and makes necessary entries to effectively track tools.
• Contacts technicians about breakdowns, power outages and spills.
• Receive/check out parts for orders and inventory.
• Create work orders via CMMS (SAP).
• Deliver parts and materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
