Job summary

NewGen Technologies invites a senior reporting and data design professional to lead secure agency-level financial reporting. You will define requirements, organizational hierarchies, data segregation rules, and reconciliation criteria, while maintaining the current enterprise reporting baseline.

Onsite in Herndon, VA four days a week with remote options for non-West Coast candidates. Requirements include 5+ years in reporting, analytics, data security, and strong SQL and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in reporting, analytics, data security, or functional data design.
• Experience defining row-level security, RBAC, and organizational data segregation.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud data and BI/reporting platforms.
• Ability to translate business reporting needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Snowflake and federal financial-data experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Lead the functional and data design for secure agency-level financial reporting. Define reporting requirements, organizational hierarchies, data-segregation rules, row-level security, reconciliation criteria and acceptance measures while preserving the existing enterprise reporting baseline.
Candidates local to Herndon, VA preferred to be onsite 4 days/week. Remote candidates not from the West Coast will be considered.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• MBI Clearance
• 5+ years in reporting, analytics, data security, or functional data design
• Experience defining row-level security, role-based access, and organizational data segregation
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills
• Experience with cloud data and BI/reporting platforms
• Experience performing source-to-report reconciliation and defining test cases
• Ability to translate business reporting needs into functional and technical requirements
• Snowflake and federal financial-data experience preferred
• Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
