Pixie Services is seeking a SAP GATP & Batch Determination Specialist to optimize supply chain and Order-to-Cash processes through advanced SAP configuration and production support. The role requires deep expertise in availability checking, PAL, RBA, BOP, and batch determination, with strong cross-functional collaboration across SAP modules.

Responsibilities

• Configure/configure and support SAP GATP functions (PAC, PAL, RBA, BOP).

• Support SAP APO integration via CIF and master data consistency.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and root-cause analysis within SLAs.

Job description

SAP GATP & Batch Determination Specialist

The ideal candidate will support and enhance supply chain and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes through SAP configuration, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This role requires deep knowledge of availability checking, product allocation, backorder processing, and batch selection, along with strong integration experience across SAP SD, MM, LE, PP, and APO.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support SAP GATP functionalities, including Product Availability Check (PAC), Product Allocation (PAL), Rules-Based ATP (RBA), and Backorder Processing (BOP).
• Configure and maintain SAP Batch Determination, including condition techniques, search strategies, batch classification, sort rules, Shelf Life Expiration Date (SLED), and First Expired, First Out (FEFO).
• Troubleshoot issues related to sales order confirmations, product allocations, batch assignments, and delivery processing.
• Support SAP APO-ERP integration through Core Interface (CIF) and ensure consistency of relevant master data.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve incidents within established SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across SAP SD, MM, LE, PP, and supply chain operations.
• Lead functional requirements gathering, configuration, functional specification development, and end-to-end testing, including SIT and UAT.
• Support deployment, post-go-live stabilization, and ongoing system improvements.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities using Jira Service Management or similar ITSM platforms.

Required Qualifications & Skills

-10+ years of overall SAP functional consulting experience.

-Hybrid – 50% travel to Hercules, CA

-Strong hands-on expertise in SAP GATP and Batch Determination.

-Deep understanding of:

• Product Availability Check (PAC)
• Product Allocation (PAL)
• Rules-Based ATP (RBA)
• Backorder Processing (BOP)
• Batch Determination and Search Strategies
• Batch Classification and Sort Rules
• SLED and FEFO

-Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) and supply chain processes.

-Experience integrating SAP SD, MM, LE, PP, and SAP APO.

-Hands-on experience with SAP APO CIF integration and troubleshooting.

-Strong production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

-Experience working with ITIL-based support processes, SLAs, and functional documentation.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

-Knowledge of GMP requirements, batch traceability, and regulated supply chain processes.

-Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments.

-Experience supporting global SAP environments and complex supply chain operations.
