Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Plano, Texas is seeking a SAP Project Manager to lead customer engagements, coordinate with internal teams, and drive SAP cloud and on-premise delivery for ECS customers.

You will ensure service delivery aligns with contract terms, manage change requests, and build trusted advisor relationships with clients. The role requires 4+ years in project management or SAP operations, strong customer-facing experience, and familiarity with SAP HANA, S4/HANA, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in project management or SAP Operations.
• Minimum 4+ years in a customer-facing role; 4–6 years in service management with multiple clients.
• 2+ years in SAP cloud, hybrid infrastructure and SAP landscape ops.
• Familiarity with SAP Basis and SAP tech stack (ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver).
• Experience with hyperscalers (Azure/AWS) and SAP ECS/RISE.

Responsibilities

• Actively drives cloud transformation with key client stakeholders to ensure S/4HANA adoption.
• Lead customer engagement and align across SAP Services, Product Support, ECS Partners and customer SI/Hosting Partners.
• Administrative tasks for engagement management (staffing, reporting, controlling).
• Manage delivery of service plans and reactive support requests.
• Host governance meetings with customers and SAP stakeholders.
• Drive onboarding towards SAP Cloud Solutions and manage scope changes.
• Oversee commercial aspects (costs, profitability) and client reporting/invoicing.
• Produce customer reference collateral and satisfaction responses.
• De-escalate critical situations with proactive mindset.
