Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking an experienced SAP Architect to lead design, development, and testing of SAP extensions on S/4HANA and BTP, using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.

You will guide global delivery teams, review architectures, and mentor engineers while collaborating with senior client stakeholders. Travel may be required up to 100% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
• Minimum of 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs, client workshops).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
• Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Business AI where applicable.
• Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
• Travel may be required for this role, from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
