Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice leads the design of advanced SAP custom development on S/4HANA and BTP, using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, and Clean Core methodologies. You will mentor global teams, drive architectural decisions, and help clients transition to modern, intelligent SAP solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SAP development, with leadership experience and a strong consulting background. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
• Minimum of 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs, client workshops).
• Prior experience supporting the Industrial industry/clients
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
• Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
