Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an Engineering Manager specialized in SAP CAP Java to design and implement cutting-edge solutions using SAP technologies and cloud-native methods. You will lead scalable systems, drive innovation, and collaborate with global teams.

The role requires deep SAP expertise, Java/Spring Boot proficiency, and experience with cloud platforms. Occasional travel and strong English communication are expected, with Agile teamwork at the core.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP experience including BTP, ABAP, Fiori, HANA, and Integration.
• ERP or S/4HANA background with end-to-end process understanding.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development expertise.
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven design.
• Proficiency with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of SAP CAP, Fiori, and UI5 is advantageous.
• Excellent presentation and English communication skills (B2+).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect SAP solutions, including CAP Java applications.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Provide ERP/S/4HANA process expertise for end-to-end workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP BTP, OData, and other technologies.
• Guide projects with a customer-oriented approach and strong communication.
• Maintain code quality, scalability, and best practices in software development.
• Support DevOps principles like automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deliver presentations and communicate effectively in English.
• Travel occasionally to support customer projects.
• Uphold Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
