Job summary

RTX Corporation in Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA/Datasphere Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions. This hybrid role requires working with SAP models, ETL pipelines, and cloud data platforms.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on SAP expertise, strong communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust analytics capabilities. A U.S. citizen is required and the position is based in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• University degree or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizen required.
• 2 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA.
• Hands-on ABAP knowledge for transformations.
• Strong data modeling and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
• Assist with modernization efforts, including migration from legacy BW systems and integration with cloud data platforms.
• Build and optimize HANA native models, SQLScript logic, and calculation views.
• Develop high-performance ETL pipelines using SDI, SLT, or BODS.
• Partner with analytics teams to deliver semantic models for SAC, or other BI tools.
• Assist with incident resolution, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for SAP data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support DevOps processes including gCTS/CTS , Git-based workflows, CI/CD automation.
• Contribute to architecture roadmaps, technology evaluations, and long-term strategic planning.
